Architects have long relied on glass, wood, and steel. But now a new group of designers are going digital with a toolkit of sound, projection, film, robotics, and motion graphics to shape the immaterial side of buildings. This session will explore how these designers and media makers are working in tandem with traditional architects to make digital experiences an integrated part of public space.
Moderated by WSJ's Rachel Emma Silverman, this session will bring together designers and technologists from NBBJ, Samsung, and Yonder to explore how these tools are being used to create spaces that delight and inspire, allowing people to feel more connected to their physical surroundings.
